RaphaRise ChurchOS

Terms of Service

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE REQUIRED]

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of RaphaRise ChurchOS (the "Service"), a software platform for church administration, finance, membership, ministry, and related record-keeping. By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the church you represent.

Who May Use the Service

The Service is intended for churches and their authorized staff, leaders, volunteers, and members. A church administrator is responsible for the accounts they create or approve within their church, and for ensuring those accounts are used appropriately.[MINIMUM AGE / GUARDIAN CONSENT POLICY REQUIRED]

Church Accounts and Roles

Each church operates its own account. Access inside a church is controlled by roles and permissions that church's administrators configure — the Service does not itself decide who can see or change what; it enforces the access decisions the church has made. A church is responsible for keeping its own membership, financial, and ministry records accurate, and for the decisions its authorized users make using the Service (such as approving requests or publishing announcements).

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content, or content that violates another person's rights.
  • Attempt to access another church's data, or another member's account, without authorization.
  • Probe, scan, or attempt to bypass the Service's security or rate limits.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages outside of a church's own congregation.
  • Reverse-engineer or resell the Service without our prior written permission.

Your Content and Records

Churches and their members remain responsible for the accuracy of the information they enter — membership records, financial entries, ministry reports, and similar content ("Church Data"). You retain ownership of your Church Data. You grant us the limited right to host, process, and transmit it solely to provide and support the Service.

Newcomer and Visitor Submissions

Information submitted through a church's public welcome form becomes part of that specific church's records, subject to the church's own follow-up process. Installing or using the RaphaRise mobile app does not, on its own, create or approve church membership — membership decisions remain with the church.

Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service reliably available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the Service evolves. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes that affect how a church's data is handled.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for accounts that violate these Terms, present a security risk, or where required by law. A church may stop using the Service at any time; see our Privacy Policy for how data is handled after an account becomes inactive.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or that it is a substitute for a church's own legal, financial, or pastoral judgment — decisions made using information in the Service remain the responsibility of the church and its leaders.[ADDITIONAL WARRANTY DISCLAIMER LANGUAGE REQUIRED]

Limitation of Liability

[LIABILITY LIMITATION LANGUAGE REQUIRED — jurisdiction-specific, needs legal review]

Governing Law

[GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION REQUIRED]

Contact

Questions about these Terms can be directed to your church administrator or to [CONTACT EMAIL REQUIRED].

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
